| About Tim I have been learning my trade for over 30 years. I am 63 years old now, but when I was 30, I was 35 to 40 pounds overweight, and I smoked 3 packs of cigarettes a day. On New Year's Day 1977, I resolved to stop smoking and get in shape. Through exercise and proper diet, and mostly by trial and error, I stopped smoking and lost the excess weight. Today I have less than 9% body fat. My blood pressure is consistently 120/80 or below. My resting heart rate is in the 40's or low 50's. In recent years, I have completed several half marathons, three sprint triathlons (half mile swim, 16-mile bike ride, and 5k run), and three 4-mile Marine Challenge Mud Runs consisting of mud pits and other obstacles. |

About Darby I was an athlete in high school, twice finishing in the Top 10 of the State 4A Cross Country Championships. Since high school, I have continued to compete in several roadraces, Marine mud runs, and a triathlon. My passion for health and wellness, coupled with my desire to help others achieve their fitness goals, led me to pursue a career as a personal trainer. |
